Good Afternoon!
I woke up around 7:30am and I had little to no motivation to get moving. My toddler hates when I am lazy and he demanded a wake up and feed him. I dragged my feet to the kitchen and I prepared him his breakfast which consisted of a banana, grapes, and milk. While I was serving my son his milk I started to think about the cows and how unhealthy this milk was but it’s his favorite. I went and showered and asked the kid (I also have a step daughter) if they wanted to go to the store with me. They both were overjoyed that I was feeling a little more motivated. I brought the shopping list that “Plant Based on a Budget” provided me and I got started.
I needed to find a store that has a large bulk section since that is what the website suggested for all the recipes- it saves money. I chose Good Harvest. The store is close to my house and has a large variety of bulk items. The meal plan creators said that they were able to get all the items on the shopping list for under $25. I was not that successful. My bill was $62.64 but all my items were produced by local farmers, and all found in this one store so it was convenient. If I were to shop at my local Pick n Save I would have to travel to Good Harvest to complete the groceries shopping. Any person that has kids knows that it’s important to limit the stores you go to or else your kids turn into monsters (at least mine do).

Below are all the items I did purchase for this amount.
I am now going to create my first meal. Stay tuned!
